My Approach

Therapy with me is a steady, relational process. We pay attention to what emerges in the room — your thoughts, feelings, bodily shifts, and the subtle ways you relate to yourself and others. I’m interested in how you make sense of your experiences, and how those experiences shape the choices you face now.

I work collaboratively. I stay alongside you rather than analysing from a distance. I’m attentive to what feels alive in the moment and to the meaning that unfolds between us. Some sessions may feel spacious and reflective; others may feel more focused or emotionally charged. We move at a pace that feels right for you.

My aim is to create a space where you can explore difficult or confusing experiences without judgement or pressure. Together we make sense of what’s happening, understand the patterns that repeat, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and the world around you.

While my practice is primarily relational and longer‑term, I do offer short‑term therapy in specific circumstances. This is something we decide together after an initial session, once we have a clearer sense of what you’re bringing and whether a focused piece of work would be supportive. Short‑term therapy can be helpful when you’re navigating a particular transition, decision or life event and want a contained space to explore it with care and clarity.

Areas of Focus

People come to therapy for many reasons. You may recognise yourself in the themes below, or you may be seeking a more focused piece of work. Whatever brings you here, we explore it together with care, curiosity and attention to your lived experience:

  • relationship and relational difficulties

  • culture, identity, belonging, masculinity and femininity

  • discrimination

  • low self-esteem

  • life stages (young adulthood, menopause, retirement and ageing)

  • bereavement and loss

  • trauma

  • anxiety

  • questions around spirituality

  • self and career development

My work is not limited to these themes — whatever brings you here, we explore it together with care, curiosity and attention to your lived experience.
