About Me

I am of Jamaican Heritage and grew up in London and the surrounding Caribbean diaspora.  As the youngest of three siblings growing up in the city, I developed a passion for music and poetry, which eventually led me to study a degree in creative writing and visual art.  This has become a vehicle for self-expression, exploration and connection. My dyslexia is part of how I move through the world — it shapes my creativity, my sensitivity to language, and the reflective presence I bring to therapy.

I grew up in a Christian household and have been practising Nichiren Buddhism for over 10 years.   This practice informs my daily life and supports my compassion and understanding of the world and those within it.

I am a BACP-registered Existential and Phenomenological Psychotherapist, which means I’m interested in how you experience your life from within — the moments, relationships and experiences that shape your sense of self.

I’m drawn to the places where people feel stuck, uncertain or disconnected, and I work with you to explore those experiences in a way that feels grounded and human.

As a practising qualified Social Worker with over twenty years of experience supporting individuals, families and professionals in community and safeguarding settings, I’m able to sit with complexity, hold steady when things feel overwhelming, and stay attuned to the cultural, relational and spiritual layers that shape people’s lives.  It informs the calm, reflective presence I bring to therapy and the way I work with people in moments of uncertainty, transition or distress.
